I guess Pearl Beach Designs began many years ago in my daydreams and ponderings.  As far back as I can recall I have been interested in fashion, design and unusual artistic pieces.  I have spent countless hours over the years wondering through art fairs admiring the artistry and occasionally purchasing a piece here or there that was particularly appealing. 

I began with jewelry making by experimenting with beaded designs that were initially intended simply for my own enjoyment.  After receiving much encouragement from friends who also enjoyed my designs, I decided to devote more time to creating custom jewelry pieces.  Happily, the designs were well received and I was lucky enough to develop a few regular customers.

Inspired by the view from the window of my cottage on a lake in my home state of Michigan, I began to create jewelry that I felt reflected the beauty of the water and the natural surroundings.  I enjoy creating pieces with sterling silver, gemstones, crystals and my favorite, freshwater pearls.
